ANGOLA, Ind. - Irene Chen won the No. 1 singles match and she joined Katie Collins for a win at No. 2 doubles. Those were Albion's points in a 7-2 loss to Trine in a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association women's tennis match,
Chen pushed her singles record to 8-4 with a 6-0, 6-0 victory over Erin Kwaske. Chen and Collins were 8-2 victors over Marissa German and Tarah Brennan.
All six singles matches were decided in straight sets. Olivia Conover had Albon's best chance to win a set, losing the No. 3 singles match by scores of 6-2 and 7-5.
Albion completes the season with a Saturday home match against Kalamazoo.
