Katelyn Beauregard, an assistant coach and athletic counselor at Springfield College for the past two seasons, joined the Albion College volleyball coaching staff in 2017.

A graduate of Salve Regina University (B.A. psychology, 2015) and Springfield College (M.Ed. in athletic counseling, 2017), Beauregard was a member of the staff as the Pride volleyball program advanced to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Division III Championship in consecutive years.

Responsible for the hitters attacking from the antenna, Beauregard helped the Pride boast the highest hitting percentage in Division III in 2015 and she coached the student-athlete who led Division III in total blocks in 2016.

Beauregard also arrives with six years of club experience with indoor and beach volleyball and she helped establish the Max Performance Volleyball Club in Taunton, Mass.

As a student-athlete at Salve Regina, Beauregard was a four-year starter, four-year academic all-conference award winner, three-year all-conference pick and two-year captain. Named the Rhode Island Association for Intercollegiate Athletics for Women Distinguished Athlete of the Year as a senior, she was a member of Salve Regina’s first ECAC New England Championship in 2014.
