ShaQuoria Thompson and Cassie Vince achieved marks that currently place them among the top 10 on the Division III lists in their respective events.
Running in the Meyo Invitational at the University of Notre Dame, Vince set a time of 9:31.07 in the 3,000 meters. It's the sixth-fastest time in Division III history and an Albion College record and it keeps her at No. 2 on the Division III list for the season (Vince is second only to Kaitlyn Mooney of the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, 9:27.25).
Thompson, a first-year student from Waxahachie, Texas, won the shot put competition in the Midwest Invitational at Indiana Wesleyan University. Her throw of 44' 8" moves her into 10th place on the Division III list for the season.
