Cassie Vince Named the Junior Female Athlete of the Year by the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and qualified for the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Academic Honor Roll in 2017-2018.

2018 outdor track & field: The MIAA Most Valuable Female Runner after winning championships in the 5,000 and 10,000 meters...Also named all-region in both distance events...Broke the school record in the 5,000 (17:11.72) at the Dr. Keeler Invitational at North Central College.

2017-18 indoor track & field: Qualified for the NCAA Division III Championship in the 3,000 and 5,000 meters...A double medal winner in the MIAA Championship, winning the 5,000 meters (17:09.54) and the silver medal in the 3,000 meters (10:23.52)...Named the MIAA's Female Track Athlete of the Week Dec. 4 after achieving the school record in the 5,000 meters (17:24.21) at the Saginaw Valley State University Holiday Classic...Gained the MIAA Female Track Athlete of the Week award again on Jan. 16 after setting the school-record in the 3,000 meters (9:44.53) in the Bob Eubanks Open.

2017 cross country: Named the MIAA's Female Runner of the Week Sept. 5 after setting the Sudeck Sundown Classic meet record, finishing the 4K coruse in 14:43 (good for a 32 second margin over the race runner-up)

An all-state performer in track & field and achieved all-conference status in cross country in 2013...An honor roll student in high school...Chose Albion "because it was a very well rounded college. Albion is one of the top academic colleges in all of Michigan, has very competitive sports teams, and is just a great community in general"...Enjoys reading, baking, and riding bikes...Creating an individualized major at Albion...Daughter of Terry and Laura Kemp.
