Christina Rafaill was named the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Player of the Week in women's tennis Monday.
The first-year player from Grosse Pointe Shores, Mich., was a 6-1, 6-0 winner over Valerie Dainelli in the fourth flight singles match last Saturday as Albion gained a 5-4 victory over Holy Cross College in its first dual match of the season.
Albion has a 9 a.m. Saturday home match against Alma College this week.
