ALBION, Mich. – Chrissy Gauss pushed her singles record to 4-1 against Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association rivals Thursday, defeating Saint Mary's Meaghan Flynn in straight sets (6-2, 6-4).
Gauss and Olivia Conover (a 5-7, 6-4, 11-9 winner at No. 3 singles) produced Albion's points in a 7-2 loss in the match.
Albion, 7-9 overall and 4-2 against MIAA rivals, travels to Hope College on Tuesday for its next league contest.
