ALBION, Mich. - Albion swept the doubles matches and won four singles contests in straight sets to take an 8-1 victory over Cornerstone University in non-league women's tennis action inside the Ungrodt Tennis Center.
Olivia Conover and Chrissy Gauss had the most impressive singles victories. Playing at No. 3, Conover defeated her rival 6-1, 6-0. Gauss, at No. 4, was a 6-1, 6-1 winner.
Lauren Solano, playing No. 1, and Rachel Barry, at No. 5, also won in straight sets.
In doubles, Gauss and Solano won the No. 2 match, 8-0, and Barry and Conover were 8-1 winners at No. 3.
