Women's Tennis Takes Loss At Hope

HOLLAND, Mich. - Hope College, ranked 26th nationally and sixth in the region, scored a 9-0 victory over Albion College in a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association women's tennis contest.

Albion's best chance to score was No. 1 doubles. Nancy Benda and Carli Capestany defeated the Britons team of Irene Chen and Margaux Kabodian by an 8-5 score.

All six singles matches were decided in straight sets.

Albion's next match is a Friday date at Adrian College.
