Four from women's swimming gain all-MIAA awards

Rileigh Eding, Hannah Erickson, Anna Moore and Samantha Swingewood represent Albion College on the all-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association women's swimming and diving team released Wednesday.

All of the superlatives listed below are from the MIAA Championship meet last weekend.

Eding, a junior from Hamilton, Mich., gained silver medals with runner up performances in the 200, 400 and 800 freestyle and 400 medley relay events and the 50 freestyle and 100 backstroke and a bronze medal in the 100 freestyle.

Erickson, a sophomore from Birmingham, Mich., who prepped at Seaholm High School, gained silver medals with runner up performances in the 200, 400 and 800 freestyle relay events and in the 200 freestyle and a bronze medal in the 500 freestyle.

Moore, a senior from Battle Creek, Mich., gained silver medals with runner up performances in the 400 freestyle and 400 medley relay events and 200 backstroke and a bronze medal in the 200 medley relay and 100 backstroke.

Swingewood, a first-year swimmer from Carmel, Ind., gained silver medals with runner up performances in the 800 freestyle and 400 medley relay events and in the 200 butterfly and 400 individual medley and a bronze medal in the 200 individual medley.
