Albion secures dual meet victory over Alma

ALBION, Mich. - Albion College took first place in every swimming event Saturday in earning a 158-105 victory over Alma College in a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association women's swimming and diving dual meet.

Albion enjoyed the opportunity to enter swimmers in different events than usual. Samantha Swingewood was the only swimmer to take first place in multiple events, winning the 200- and 500-yard freestyle events.

Also winning individual events for the Britons were Mary Noble (1,000 freestyle), Katelyn Killewald (100 backstroke), Lauren Hall I100 breaststroke), Natalie Seifert (200 butterfly), Tia Ulieme (50 freestyle), Allison Dasky (100 freestyle), Rileigh Eding (200 backstroke)Katy Henning (200 breaststroke), Courtney Swingewood (100 butterfly) and Amanda Quitos (200 individual medley).

Albion continues its MIAA dual meet schedule with a Jan. 26 meet at Hope College.
