Swimming records fall at Wabash

CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. – Rileigh Eding and Alexandra Horman broke the Albion College records in their respective events in Saturday action at the Wabash College Invitational.

Eding was the top Division III performer in the 100-yard backstroke. She touched the wall in 56.6 seconds, second only to Amanda Thielen representing Saginaw Valley State University. Eding's teammate, Anna Moore, was fourth in the race at 59.56 seconds. Tia Ulieme was 10th (1:01.18).

Horman raced to third place in the 100 butterfly with a time of 58.02 seconds.

The Swingewod twins – Samantha and Courtney – placed in the 400 individual medley. Samantha was fifth (4:37.28), while Courtney was ninth (4:49.33).

Hannah Erickson scored a fifth place finish in the 200 freestyle (1:55.48).

Kaitlind Hooper was fifth in the 100 breaststroke (1:08.35).
