Eding, Henning, Moore Get Finals Swims

CHICAGO, Ill. – Rileigh Eding, Katy Henning and Anna Moore swam on the 200-yard medley relay team that finished sixth and each swam in a championship race Saturday night to lead the Albion College women's swimming & diving team in the Phoenix Fall Classic.

The Britons shaved 1.15 seconds off their seed time in the relay. Moore got Albion started with a 27.59 split in the backstroke, followed by Henning in the breaststroke (31.79), Alexandra Horman in the butterfly (26.61) and Eding in the freestyle (23.78). The Britons finished the race in 1:49.77.

Eding went on to finish third in the 100 free, completing her race in 52.72. She was touched out by two hundredths of a second in the race for second place, but she also held off Chicago's Nicole Lin by three hundreths of a second in the race for third.

Moore finished seventh in the 200 backstroke (2:10.00) while Henning was eighth in the 100 breaststroke (1:08.80).

Katie Ferrero made the championship race in the 500 freestyle where she finished eighth (5:25.17)
