Women's Soccer falls to Adrian in regular season finale

ALBION, Mich. – Albion College will be the No. 4 seed for the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Women's Soccer Tournament after taking a 3-0 loss to Adrian College on the final night of regular season action in the league.

Alex Radzville generated three shots for Albion in the first 13 ½ minutes of the match, but Adrian goalkeeper Ayverie Giller was up to the challenge on two of the attempts.

Albion got only one more shot off in the first half as Adrian steadily built the momentum.

Megan Louwers scored for Albion with 3:14 remaining in the first half. Sabrina Weir and Raquel Church scored for the Bulldogs in the second half.

Albion finished with five shots on goal. Radzville had three, while Maddie Ryan and Emily Wolford had the others.

Albion (7-8-2 overall and 4-3-1 against MIAA rivals) will host Olivet College, the No. 5 seed, on Saturday at 1 o'clock in the first round of the MIAA Tournament.
