Women's Soccer falls to Wittenberg

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio – Goalkeeper Megan Bricely stopped 12 of the 14 shots she faced as Albion College walked off the pitch with a 2-0 loss to Wittenberg University in a non-league women's soccer contest.

Emily Brittain was credited with Albion's shot, an attempt placed on goal in the 13th minute.

Wittenberg tested Bricely for the first time in the 22nd minute.

Shannon Brueck and Sydney Weaver scored the goals for Wittenberg in the second half.

Albion (2-1-1 overall) will complete its weekend trip to Ohio with a Sunday match at Baldwin-Wallace University. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. in Berea, Ohio.
