Urso's Goal Lifts Women's Soccer Past Trine

ANGOLA, Ind. – Albion College dominated the action Saturday night – holding a 20-7 edge in shot – but it took Jenna Urso to score in the 46th minute to lift the Britons to a 1-0 victory over Trine University in a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association women's soccer contest.

Urso took three of Albion's 13 shots on goal. Riley Burnette, Clare Kelley and Emily Wolford all took two shots on goal.

Albion goalkeeper Maggie Troost collected four saves to gain her second shutout of the season and the 16th of her career.

Next up for Albion (2-2 overall and 1-1 against MIAA rivals) is a 7 p.m. Thursday contest at Adrian College.
