Albion stopped in MIAA WLAX Tournament semifinal

ALBION, Mich. – The open areas in the middle of the field that Albion College took advantage of to score a victory over Saint Mary's College last Friday were not available Wednesday, and the Belles stunned the Britons, 13-12, in a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Women's Lacrosse Tournament semifinal at the Davis Athletic Complex.

Darcy Muns scored twice and Cassandra Reuschlein finished a pass from Gaitley as Albion mounted a comeback.

A telling possession came in the second half when Carly Schwarz, Reuschlein, and Muns all took shots, but the Britons came away empty.
