Women's Lacrosse completes spring break competition in California

CLAREMONT, Calif. – Albion College scored on three of the four shots it placed on goal Saturday, but it didn't have enough possession to hang with Claremont-Mudd-Scripps in a non-league women's lacrosse contest.

Darcy Muns scored two goals and California native Jade Barrett scored the other in the Britons 17-3 setback to the Athenas.

Shannon Kahl had a fine defensive contest as she stuffed the box score with four ground balls and four caused turnovers.

Albion, now 2-2 on the season, returns home next Saturday for a 1 o'clock draw against Augustana (Ill.) College.
