Moco leads women's golf to third place finish

RICHMOND, Ky. – Megan Moco produced rounds of 86 and 88 to help the Albion College women's golf team achieve a third place finish in the Alice Lloyd Invitational played at the Battlefield Golf Club.

Saint Mary's College, the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association champion, was the top team (664). The Belles were followed by Grace College (687) and the Britons (732).

Moco finished sixth among individuals.

Joining Moco in the scoring were Sydney Cohn (90-94), Bailey Downs (94-93) and Grace Hoffman (96-91).

Next up for Albion is the Steven Tyler Memorial in Portage, Mich., on April 8.

Joe and Julie Serra have given a $5 million leadership gift to launch a fundraising initiative to make two dreams a reality at Albion College. The first is a newly expanded fitness and student activity facility at the site of the current Dow Recreation and Wellness Center. The second is a new or renovated competition facility for the volleyball, men's basketball and women's basketball that currently call Kresge Gymnasium home.
