Women's Golf advances to MIAA spring competition

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. – Albion College met its season-long goal of qualifying for the spring rounds to determine the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association's automatic qualifier for the NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championship.

With the second round of the MIAA Fall Finale at the Bedford Valley Country Club rained out on Saturday, the Britons finished third in the fall standings.

Albion seniors Madison Kroetsch and Megan Moco were awarded all-MIAA second team status. Moco's 83-stroke average in five league rounds in the fall placed her 10th among individuals. Kroetsch was 11th with an 83.4-stroke average.
