Women's Golf finishes fifth in Olivet tournament

MARSHALL, Mich. – Megan Moco improved her first round score by two strokes and Sydney Cohn matched her career-best score of 85 as Albion College finished fifth out of 14 teams assembled for the Kyle Campbell Invitational at The Medalist Golf Club.

Moco turned in Albion's low score for the 36-hole event with rounds of 85 and 83 for a 168 total that placed her 15th among individuals.

Cohn had two rounds of 85 and her 170 total placed her in a tie for 18th.

Madison Kroetsch (86) and Anika Krishna (93) completed Albion's scoring on Saturday.

The Britons had rounds of 345 and 347 for a 692 total in the tournament.

DePauw University was the champion (607), followed by Bethel College (652), Carthage College (661) and Hope College (669).

Albion will return to The Medalist on Thursday as host the first Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Jamboree of the fall. Players tee off at 1 p.m.
