Albion Finishes 5th In MIAA Women's Golf Fall Championship

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. – Albion College achieved rounds of 336 and 341 to finish fifth in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association's fall championship in women's golf.

The Britons were in third place after Friday's round as Madison Kroetsch provided a 79 for her best MIAA round of the season.

Kroetsch led Albion again on Saturday. Her round of 82 put her into a tie for ninth among individuals with a 161 total.

Madison Bowen contributed round of 81 and 86 for a 167 total that put her into a tie for 16th.

Megan Moco, the MIAA's sportsmanship award winner for the season, had a 168 total with two rounds of 84.

Sydney Cohn completed Albion's score with rounds of 92 and 89 for a 181 total.

The top five teams in the tournament were Saint Mary's College (615), Hope College (644), Olivet College (660), Alma College (668) and Albion (677).
