BRIGHTON, Mich. – The Albion College softball team opened the 2019 season with losses to Cleary University, 12-4, and Concordia (Mich.) University, 10-2, at the Legacy Center.
Lauren Beougher went 3-for-4 with a walk and a run batted in at the plate.
Skyler Herman drove in a RBI in both games. She slugged a triple and scored in the fourth inning against Concordia.
Albion has two weeks until it travels to Florida for spring break. The Britons begin a 12-game stretch with March 3 games against Elms (Mass.) College and Penn State University-Altoona.
