Albion, Wilmington split softball doubleheader

ALBION, Mich. – Kelsie Vogleman went 4-for-6 at the plate and Brianna Charron pitched a four-hit shutout in game one as Albion College split a non-league softball doubleheader with Wilmington (Ohio) College at Dempsey Field.

Game One: Albion 5, Wilmington 0

Albion collected four of its six hits in the game in the first inning. The Britons scored twice – Angela Hoffsis scored on a bunt by Lauren Beougher and Grace Connolly tacked on a RBI single to push Beougher across the plate – to give Charron all the run support she would need.
