ANGOLA, Ind. – Julia Anderson collected all three of Albion's hits and its RBI in 9-1 and 18-1 losses to seventh-ranked Trine Saturday afternoon.
Game One
Trine pitcher Bree Fuller retired the first seven Britons before Olivia Imbier drew a one-out walk in the third. The next three batters – Kaylee Fields, Elena Luce and Anderson – reached on errors and Imbier scored as Albion took a 1-0 lead.
Amy Newell, Kaylee Fox, and Carly Searles all hit two-run homeruns for Trine.
Game Two
Jamie Schnarr, Emily McCarty and Kaitlyn Clark hit homeruns as Trine scored 11 times in the third inning.
Lauren Oppliger scored for Albion in the third. She drew a one-out walk and scored on Anderson's double.
On Deck
Albion is scheduled to close the season with home doubleheaders against Cleary (April 23 at 3:30 p.m.) and Alma (April 25 at 1 p.m.).
