ADRIAN, Mich. – Albion College collected five hits – all in game one – in 8-0 and 17-0 losses to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association rival Adrian College.
Julia Anderson, Megan LaCavera, Delaney Probst, Alice Garvin and Olivia Imbier all singled for the Britons in game one. Albion left the bases loaded in the second inning and it had runners on first and second with one out in the fifth but failed to score.
Albion batters struck out 12 times against Brooke Stewart in game two. Stewart pitched a perfect game in improving her record to 3-2.
Albion has two home doubleheaders scheduled next week. The Britons host Olivet College at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and Hope College at 1 p.m. next Saturday.
