Ditri achieves school, personal records

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Adam Ditri lowered his personal best by 20 seconds to achieve an Albion College record in the 5,000 meters during a meet at Grand Valley State University on Friday. Ditri completed his race in 15:01.73.

Meanwhile, on Saturday, it was a good day for the jumps crew in a meet at Aquinas College.

Richard Annorat cleared 6' 6 ¼" to win the high jump, while teammate Trevor Knowles (6' 2 ¼") was the runner up. Annorat also took second place in the 60-meter hurdles, with Jephte Jean-Claude finishing fourth.

Knowles also scored a third place finish in the long jump.

The Britons took the top five places in the triple jump. Jean-Claude was the winner, followed by Annorat, Marcus Freeman, Jared Council and Roscell Hines.

Mark Klingel achieved Albion's best finish on the track, winning the 3,000 meters in 9:08.84. Lucas Lusk (9:25.29) was third.

Cullen Cox achieved a time of 52.79 seconds to finish third in the 400 meters.
