LEWISBURG, Pa. – Personal records were the order of the day as Albion College sent a group of distance runners to a meet hosted by Bucknell University.
Adam Ditri improved his best time in the 1,500 meters by two seconds when he finished the race in 4:01.34.
First-year runner James Weekley achieved a 16-second personal best in the 5,000 meters, reaching the finish line in 15:17.46. Andrew Wittland improved by 12 seconds, completing his race in 15:30.47. Mark Klingel set his outdoor record with a time of 15:43.95.
Representing the women, Allison Snyder improved her personal best in the 5,000 meters by nine seconds. She reached the finish in 18:04.44.
Albion track & field action on Eastern weekend continues tomorrow as a group of Britons competes at Ball State University.
