Men's Tennis bounced by local rival

ALBION, Mich. – Spring Arbor University handed Albion College a 9-0 setback in a non-league men's tennis match inside the Ungrodt Tennis Center.

Josh McGarry gave Albion its most competitive match. Playing No. 1 singles, McGarry pushed Nick Romano before losing the first set, 7-5. Romano won the second set, 6-2.

The scores of the second, third and fourth singles were 6-2, 6-2.

Toma Shngoo, playing No. 4 singles, pushed Spring Arbor's Sam Head before falling 6-2, 6-4.

Albion will travel to Hilton Head, S.C., for three matches while classes are on recess for spring break. The Britons have matches against Lebanon Valley College (March 5), Penn State University-Harrisburg (March 6) and Drew University (March 8).
