NOTRE DAME, Ind. – Josh McGarry extended his singles opponent to a tiebreaker to decide the No. 1 match, but Albion College was unable to break through in a 9-0 loss to Holy Cross College on Saturday.
Robert Joerg (No. 3 singles) and Patrick Smoker (No. 6 singles) also lost sets in their matches by 7-6 scores.
In doubles, Joerg and Smoker were defeated 8-6 in the No. 3 match.
Next up for Albion is a Wednesday afternoon home match against Spring Arbor University.
