Josh McGarry, the Albion College No. 1 singles and doubles player, has been selected as the men's tennis Player of the Week in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association.
A senior from Macomb, Mich., McGarry helped Albion score a 7-2 victory over Alma College last Thursday. He defeated Brandon Ralston 6-2, 6-2 in singles and joined Nick Kinachtchouk for an 8-2 victory over Ralston and Brett Reuter in doubles.
McGarry achieved a 2-2 singles record through the dual match and two tournaments in the fall.
