HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Albion College men's tennis team opened a series of spring break matches with a 9-0 loss to Bridgewater (Va.) College.
Josh McGarry gave Albion its best chance at a point. Playing No. 1 singles, he extended his opponent to a tiebreaker to decide the first set. Joe Dillenbeck pulled out the match 7-6 (7), 6-3.
Albion won 11 games in the other five singles matches.
Albion will return to the court tomorrow for a 12:30 p.m. match against DeSales (Pa.) University.
