GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Calvin College defeated Albion College, 9-0, in a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association men's tennis match Wednesday afternoon.

Robert Joerg came close to securing a point for Albion. Playing No. 3 singles, Joerg split sets with David Brown. Brown won the tiebreaker to decide the match to emerge with a 5-7, 7-5, 1-0 (10-1) victory.

Albion will complete the season Saturday with a MIAA match at Kalamazoo College.
