ALBION, Mich. - Will Pearl pulled out a 10-point tiebreaker to win the No. 5 singles match as Albion opened the men's tennis season with an 8-1 loss to the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Pearl dropped the first set, 6-4, but bounced back by winning the second, 6-0, and the breaker, 10-2.
Zach McKenzie pushed his rival in the No. 2 singles match to three sets.
Albion will be at home again next Saturday when it meets Cornerstone.
