Guindi, Gurnee Score In Men's Tennis Setback

ALBION, Mich. – Eric Guindi and Jonathan Gurnee produced all of Albion College's points in a 6-3 loss to Hope College in a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association men's tennis match.

Guindi and Gurnee won the No. 1 doubles match, 8-5, and they won their respective singles contests. Guindi earned a 6-2, 6-0 victory at No. 1, and Gurnee gained a 6-4, 6-3 victory at No. 2.

Hope won the other four singles matches in straight sets, though Ross Kynast extended his opponent to a second set tie-breaker at the No. 3 flight.

Albion, 7-8 overall and 2-3 against MIAA rivals, makes a Friday trip to Calvin College to complete its dual matches for the regular season.
