Four members of the MIAA Champion Albion College men's swimming & diving team were named College Swimming & Diving Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-Americans. Jake Huttenlocher, Justin Huttenlocher, Tyler Kimbrell and Connor Robertson all pick up the honor.
This award recognizes student-athletes who achieved a grade point average of 3.50 or higher.
Kimbrell capped off a storied career during the 2019-20 season. He won the 200-yard breaststroke at the MIAA Championships and was part of the 200-yard medley team that took first at the conference meet, setting the school record doing so.
Jake Huttenlocher finished behind Kimbrell in the 200-yard breaststroke at the conference championships. The junior also finished third in the 200-yard individual medley.
A sophomore, Robertson finished second in the 200-yard IM at the MIAA Championships.
Justin Huttenlocher completed a sparkling freshman campaign with second place finishes in the 1-meter and 3-meter dive, earning a spot in the NCAA Regional Meet.
Following the Regional Meet, the season ended due to the coronavirus pandemic.
