Deep Britons take down MIAA rival in men's swim/dive

ALBION, Mich. – Albion College had the top two finishers in eight events Saturday to gain a 191-107 victory over Kalamazoo College in a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association men's swimming and diving dual meet.

Albion's depth was on display with only three men (diver Jake Burris, Len Ciemniecki in the sprint freestyle events and Nate Kozycki in the butterfly events) taking first place in two individual events. Ciemniecki added a first place finish with Matt Anderson, Tommy Trueaux and Evan Wonner in the 400-yard freestyle relay.

Jake Huttenlocher (200 freestyle), Ian Moran (100 backstroke), Tyler Kimbrell (100 breaststroke), and Mac Robertson (500 freestyle) also finished first in their events for Albion.

Albion will compete in a Nov. 2-3 quadrangle meet at Calvin College.
