Warras nets first career game-winning goal

ANDERSON, Ind. – Jason Warras scored in the 103rd minute lifting Albion College to a 1-0 victory over Anderson University in a non-league men's soccer match.

It was Albion's first win in three matches extending to overtime this season.

"Jason finished off a cross from Kyle Bourlier with a great volley inside the box," Head Coach Wytse Molenaar said after the Britons improved to 4-1-2 on the season. We had been knocking on the door quite a few times. It was a hard fought win."

Albion owned a 24-8 advantage in shots, including a 10-3 lead in shots on goal. Warras and Kyle Johnson were credited with placing two shots on goal each.

Goalkeeper Maximilian Loria picked up his third shutout of the season.

Albion will travel to Chicago on Wednesday for a 7:30 p.m. ET match at North Park University.
