Men's Soccer completes winning weekend

ALBION, Mich. – The Albion College men's soccer team completed a winning Labor Day weekend with a 2-0 victory over Lawrence (Wis.) University inside the Davis Athletic Complex.

Albion dominated the match, owning an 8-1 advantage in shots on goal, and Alex Spratte and Jonathon Daily converted their scoring chances in the first half.

Daily, a sophomore in the midfield, did not score a goal for the Britons last season. He has a goal in each of the first two matches.

Goalkeeper Maximilian Loria gained credit for his second shutout of the season.

The Britons will play one of their highlight contests of the non-league portion of the schedule at 6 p.m. Tuesday when they challenge Wheaton (Ill.) College.
