Men's Lacrosse rolls into MIAA Tournament

ADRIAN, Mich. – Brady Lawrence scored five goals as Albion College secured the No. 2 seed for the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Men's Lacrosse Tournament with a 23-4 victory over Adrian College on Friday.

Albion (8-7 overall and 6-1 against MIAA rivals) will host the winner of the Saturday game between Alma College and Trine University on Wednesday. Faceoff is set for 8 p.m.

Evan Seurynck, Jacob Accardo, Scott Wistinghausen, Jacob Swift, Lawrence, Zachary Marvin, Harrison Palmer and Anthony Zugaro scored in the first quarter as Albion earned an 8-0 lead.

Lawrence scored two more goals, Zugaro and Marvin scored again and Alec Palmer scored as Albion extended the lead to 13-0 midway through the second quarter.

Zugaro and Jacob Swift both finished with two goals and two assists. John Cooke, Marvin and Wistinghausen finished with two goals each.
