Men's Lacrosse plays even second half in loss

GAMBIER, Ohio – Albion College played even with Kenyon College in the second half, but it could not overcome a halftime deficit in a 12-8 setback in non-league men's lacrosse action.

Albion trailed 3-2 when Paul Lewis scored with 10 ½ minutes left in the second quarter.

Emilio Sosa scored two goals and Jonah Florence tacked on a goal and two assists as Kenyon forged a 7-3 lead at halftime.

David DiRado scored twice in the second half for Albion (once in the third quarter, and another in the fourth). He also assisted on Jacob Accardo's third quarter goal.

Brandon Lebioda scored a goal in each half for Albion.

Alec Palmer and Anthony Zugaro also scored goals for the Britons.

Albion will spend the first half of its spring break in Ohio where it will play a Wednesday afternoon contest against the nationally ranked team from Denison University.
