Britons Fall In Tennessee

SEWANEE, Tenn. – Turnovers hampered Albion College Wednesday afternoon as it was outscored 5-1 in the second half in a 13-9 loss to Sewanee.

Drew Harm scored three times in the first 16 ½ minutes as Albion built a 6-3 lead.

Peter Brown scored twice and assisted on another goal as Sewanee went on a five-goal binge to forge an 8-6 lead midway through the second quarter.

Albion recovered behind goal from Brandon Lebioda and Zach Hubbell to pull even at halftime. Lebioda finished the day with two goals and an assist, while Hubbell chipped in with a goal and two assists.

Albion was charged with 16 turnovers in the second half as Sewanee took 41 of its 66 shots in the contest. Goalkeeper Trevor McManus did his best to stand up to the challenge, making 16 of his 23 saves in the second half.

Albion returns home for its first game in the new Davis Athletic Complex. It's a Saturday date against Otterbein (Ohio) University at 2 p.m.
