Albion Cashes In On Extra-Man Opportunities

OLIVET, Mich. – Albion College converted 6 of 7 extra-man opportunities as it defeated Olivet College, 15-5, in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association men's lacrosse action.

Albion held a 5-2 lead at halftime and it outscored Olivet, 10-3, in the second half to pull away for the victory. Cameron Braun and Mitch Loney scored two goals apiece in the second half. Dylan Neal produced a goal in each half and he dished out two assists. Jamie Kehoe scored goals in each half, and Dan Genord was Albion's leader with three goals.

Goalkeeper Ian Monkman collected 12 saves.

Albion, 6-3 overall, hosts Otterbein University at 6:30 p.m. Monday for a non-league contest. The Britons return to league play with a Wednesday home game against Calvin College.
