ALBION, Mich. – Brooke Viele was the high point rider and Alex Carducci, Peach Norman Owen, Leah Schwartzenberger and Danielle Townsend all gained first place ribbons as the Albion College equestrian western team rode to the top of the team standings in the second half of a doubleheader show at the Nancy G. Held Equestrian Center.
A senior from Midland, Mich., Viele was the individual high point rider in the morning show as Albion finished second. Alex Carducci was first in reining and Gabriela Trinidad Mejia also scored first place in walk-jog. Michelle O'Dell and Schwartzenberger were second in their respective events.
