Dupuis, Boldt Earn Regionals Berth At U-M Show

In the first hunt seat meet of 2017, senior team co-captain Cayla Dupuis and junior Marjori Boldt wasted no time in qualifying for post-season competition. Dupuis, who is still in contention for the IHSA's famed Cacchione Cup, will represent the Britons in the open hunt seat and flat sections and Boldt will compete in novice flat.

Other strong showings for the Britons en route to a fourth place and third place team finish during the doubleheader hosted by the University of Michigan came from sophomore Sadie Wayman, who was consistent from Saturday to Sunday with second place finishes in intermediate flat. First-year Jordan Marmul too remained consistent with second place finishes in open fences and open flat.

Wins from the first-year trio of Sydney Rudowski in novice flat, Jessica Imel in advanced flat, and Koryn Wilenius in novice fences rounded out the Briton point tally for the weekend.

The Briton home double-header is next on the schedule, with action beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 11 at the Nancy G. Held Equestrian Center at the south end of Albion's main campus.
