Junior Cayla Dupuis and sophomore Megan Reilly both scored wins in their respective divisions to help the Briton hunt seat team secure a fourth place finish out of the 12 teams who competed at the Oct. 11 show hosted by Western Michigan University.
Dupuis took first in intermediate flat, and Reilly won novice flat. Their efforts were aided by the efforts of three first-year riders – Sadie Wayman in both novice flat and novice fences and Megan Bertels and Megan Morrill in their sections of walk/trot/canter – who stepped up with second place finishes in their classes.
Next on the schedule for the Briton hunt seat riders is a Nov. 14-15 doubleheader hosted by Michigan State University.
