PAINESVILLE, Ohio – For the first time since Albion College began competing in the intercollegiate hunt seat arena 10 years ago, a Briton rider has qualified to compete at the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association National Championships. After a successful Zone Finals competition hosted by Lake Erie College on April 5, senior Brittney Stanton rode away zone champion with a ticket to nationals in her pocket.
The Albion College team, after winning the regional championships, rode valiantly at zones and earned some high placings in their classes. The following riders made either their first zones debut, or returned as veterans to the arena:
