UMass-Dartmouth brings an end to Albion's winning streak

Albion's best start in 18 years came to a thunderous end Friday afternoon as the Britons fell to UMass-Dartmouth, 11-1, in Auburndale, Fla.

The Britons, who had scored 60 runs in their first five wins of the season, couldn't do much against Corsairs senior pither Robbie Carrillo, who pitched seven shutout innings, allowed two hits, struck out four and walked two.

Kellen Huang and Alex Cull were the only Britons who could manage hits and Jordyn Finney had the lone RBI.

The Britons conclude their Florida trip Saturday morning against Ohio Northern.
