Riley Stesiak and Jack Wyman represent Albion College on the all-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association baseball team released Tuesday by Sheila Blackman, the league's director of media relations.
Stesiak, the Britons sophomore centerfielder from South Bend, Ind., was a first team pick. He finished 15th in the league in hitting with a .366 batting average (37-of-101) in 28 games against MIAA rivals. His .594 slugging percentage was third-best in the MIAA with 15 extra-base hits (nine doubles, four triples and two homeruns). He collected at least two hits in 14 of the 28 games against MIAA rivals.
Wyman, a senior pitcher, first baseman and designated hitter from Bloomfield Hills, Mich., was a second team pick. His powerful bat produced four doubles, two triples and five homeruns and he drove in a team-high 21 runs in the 28 league games.
On the mound, he pitched the Britons to victories over Kalamazoo College and Trine University. He pitched 38.2 innings (second-most on the Albion staff), finishing with a 4.42 earned run average.
