Baseball Britons drop spring break game

AUBURNDALE, Fla. – Albion College managed just four hits in a 6-0 loss to Rhodes (Tenn.) College during spring break baseball action on Thursday.

Jack Wyman, the starter on the mound for the Britons, collected a pair of singles. Riley Stesiak and Kellan Huang also hit singles for the Britons.

Albion batters were unable to solve Rhodes starter Trey Sledge who struck out 10 over seven innings.

Jacob Telli hit a pair of doubles and drove in two runs and Ryan Palermo contributed three hits and two RBI for the Lynx.

Albion will square off against Suffolk (Mass.) University Friday night at 6:30 at Chain of Lakes Stadium in Winter Haven.
