In response to the COVID-19 virus, Albion College and the MIAA have cancelled all NCAA sports and athletic-related activities for the remainder of the 2019-20 school year, effective immediately. This also includes all IHSA sanctioned equestrian events.
"While we understand the level of disappointment this decision causes, in particular for senior student-athletes, our number one priority is to do everything we can for the health and safety of students, staff, and communities. We strongly believe this decision is the best possible way to mitigate risk for everyone involved.", said Director of Athletics Matt Arend.
